Welcome to Taunton School
As a Headmaster, I believe that a school education should be life changing, not merely a daily ritual to be endured. I believe we should be preparing the young for the next 50 years of their lives, not just the next 5. I believe that my job is to equip my pupils with the values and experiences for a future anywhere in the world.
I am ambitious for your children. I and my staff seek to prepare young people to shape a changing world in the 21st century. That is our challenge and not simply spin. I intend to give my parents and pupils full value for the investment they are making, because there is no greater commodity than human potential. As a leading independent school for boys and girls aged 2 to 18 years, located in Somerset, in the South West of England, we offer boarders and day pupils an opportunity to live a full and forward-looking school life.
A website can only offer a flavour. Please come and visit us and meet the pupils and staff who make this a special place.
