Head teachers have called for action from the Government on the legal drug mephedrone, following the death of two boys

Louis Wainwright and Nicholas Smith tragically died in Scunthorpe on Monday after reportedly taking a large dose of the drug.
The National Association of Head Teachers (NAHT) claims that it has the same degree of danger as any Class A drug and drastic action by the Government should be taken. General Secretary Mick Brookes has asked for serious consideration from the Government to ban the drug altogether.
The drug has become increasingly popular in the United Kingdom with children as young as 12 years old reportedly trying it as it is currently legal.
