Tom-Brown.com hits the headlines with its survey of the nation's sweetest memories of schooldays

Through the doom and gloom of modern times, we all enjoy a touch of nostalgia, as Tom-brown.com reveals in its latest survey of the nation's tastes. We conducted a poll to see what was the nation's favourite (and least favourite) school pudding and it produced a superb response.

Apple crumble came out top of, closely followed by chocolate pudding with chocolate custard. Semolina and tapioca (those seventies stalwarts) scored the lowest in the poll, and many people pulled long faces at the memory of lumpy custard.
